Conway Stewart Model 728 & matching pencil - Stock No 110104 & 110105
Description The 728 model was recorded as being produced as clipless in many colours but, rarely in mottled vulcanite.  This mottled vulcanite example is rare and in superb condiition.  The pen is fitted with a Conway Stewart 14 carat gold nib ground to a left hand stub.  There is no brassing on the pen and the vulcanite of both cap and barrel are in flawless condition.  The matching Duro-Point No 2R (ring-top) pencil is sold with the pen.  The pencil has a minor split in the top knob which has been professionally repaired.  Otherwise, it is in perfect mechanical condition.  The brass cone of the pencil has been re-plated.  Both pen and pencil made circa 1934 to 1936.

Conway Stewart Dinkie 570 - Stock No 110109
Description A spectacular translucent red dinkie ("Lumina") with hooded 14 carat gold Conway Stewart medium nib.  The pen has not been used.  The remnants of the "Medium" chalk  mark for nib size can still be seen. The second line of the imprint of the pen bears the inscription " Holder Foreign" indicating that the cap and barrel were of foreign manufacture - probably Italian.   Made in the late 1960s.  A mint gem for the discerning Conway Stewart collector.

Conway Stewart Model 477 - Stock No 110112
Description Model 477s were supposedly made for the Australian market in the early 1940s.  This is an earlier model we can date to 1940 with a  medium Conway Stewart 14 carat gold nib.  The only faults with this pen are the dubious authenticity of the clip (which may belong to a much earlier model), light fading  of the hard rubber and poor markings.

Conway Stewart Model 477 ? - Stock No 110113
Description This is a later variant of the Model 477 (we think), made in the late 1940s.  This pen cannot be accurately described given poor (virtually non-existent) markings.  The pen is fitted with a  medium Conway Stewart 14 carat gold nib and carries even fading of the hard rubber.

Conway Stewart 15 - Stock No 110115
Description Model 15 made from casein in circa 1952 in Marbled Plum with black veins.  Features sliver plated trim and  broad Conway Stewart 14 carat gold nib.  Cap has been shortened on this pen at the lip by some 5 mm, presumably to mask a cap lip crack.  Otherwise the pen is in very good condition and writes well.

Description A rare Conway Stewart Manifold, a large pen made in 1935 in black vulcanite.  The Manifold pen was used to make copies with carbon paper and features a purposefully rigid nib to achieve this task. Features a 14 carat gold Conway Stewart No 5 Manifold nib. No brassing and showing good markings.  The flat top is typically inscribed "M".  In overall excellent condition.

Description The Conway Pen made between 1937 and 1940.  A fine example of a rare Forest Green 475 model fitted witha 14 carat gold Conway Stewart fine nib. The only fault this example has are light marks on the section - perhaps caused by teeth!  Nickel trim is in very good condition.  No cracks or splits and features good markings.

Description A sought after Conway Stewart Model 22 in very good condition save for minor brassing to clip and lever and typical yellowing to barrel and cap.  Compared with some 22s we've seen, the yellowing to the barrel and cap is moderate.  The No 22 was produced between 1955 to 1957.  Features original gold Grecian band and Conway Stewart No 2, 14 carat (medium) gold nib in excellent condition.  This pen has been restored with a silicone sac to minimise further yellowing.  This example has no cracks or splits and features strong markings.

Description Made circa 1935.  An excellent Conway Stewart model 356 in chased black hard rubber in generally, very good condition.  A feature of the 356 was a gold plated cap and nickel plated lever.  This pen typifies the vintage and is fitted with a sem-flexible Conway Stewart 14  carat gold (medium) nib. With time the hard rubber has faded to a very dark brown.
