Many of these fine pens are only available in small numbers as limited editions.  In some cases, special and (matching in sets) serial numbers are available on request.


Solid Gold

Hand sculptured from 18ct gold, this is the ultimate writing instrument. Intricately carved in the enduringly popular Barleycorn pattern.  A visual and tactile delight. Available only as a fountain pen in the full range of Conway Stewart nib widths.



Centenary Overlays

Based on the infamous Duro, the Centenary Overlays feature hand crafted silver or vermeil overlays, each individually crafted by Henry Simpole, one of England's finest silversmiths. Each Overlay is hand made and features the finest craftsmanship. The Overlays were introduced in 2005 by Conway Stewart to celebrate its 100th anniversary.  Each is individually numbered.
There are only 100 pieces in each of silver and vermeil and 10 only in gold. Available in fountain pen only.

Great Exhibition

This mammoth and weighty pen is eight inches long, and superbly crafted from handmade gold, silver or vermeil overlay fashioned by the famous artisan, Henry Simpole. Simpole's designs also appear on the Centenary Overlays also featured on this page.  The pens carry the English Assay Office hallmarks authenticating the precious metal overlay. Reminiscent of the great pens of the 1900s, the Great Exhibition is available only as an eye-dropper filler which holds the equivalent of eight ink cartridges. A prized possesion for any pen enthusiast devoted to British craftmanship. A strictly limited edition in each finish.


The Romanoff

Created from rods of sterling silver and engraved in the style of Faberge, the Romanoff is a very special pen featuring the crest of the Romanoff dynasty, rulers of Russia from the revolution until 1917. The Romanoff is inlaid with white pearlescent enameland features a unique stepped design solid silver cap. Available as an exclusive Conway Stewart edition in both fountain pen and roller ball.


Cromwell

Needless to say, named after the 10th most popular Briton ever, Sir oliver Cromwell.  The Cromwell is carefully crafted from solid sterling silver, following the shape and size of the popular Elegance Series.  The cap and barrel are embellished with crisp guilloche engraving in an elegant cascading brocade pattern which is then covered with rich, gleaming crimson enamel.  The Cromwell is in Fountain Pen only and comes in a strictly limited edition of 200 pens.
