Swan Leverless Fountain Pen - Stock No 170113
Description Made by Mabie Todd & Co England circa 1935.  This pen is a very rare, unmarked  find. The pen is in Mint condition.  The only traces of ink are on the nib which may have been dipped years' ago.  The pen itself is a three band, translucent pale green and black marble in perfect order.  Its colour is as rare as the find itself.  The pen (purchased at a recent UK auction), has obviously spent its life inside a cardboard sleeve in which we received it.  It has not been exposed to light over time and the finish is nothing short of pristine.  The original sac has perished and can be replaced by us if desired by the purchaser.  The pen features a Swan Eternal No 4 medium nib which shows no sign of normal use. Attached are still the original Swan label advising a purchase price of "40/-" and the retailer's purchase tax label denoting the surcharge of "8/11".  The plating is perfect as are the markings and overall finish.
